A Los Angeles Reader Reports That English Isn't Required for Jury Duty

Carlos Rodriguez Writes From Kansas:

Re: Joe Guzzardi's Column: "Labor Day—As the Rich Get Richer…"

I'm a Hispanic who is like-minded with you and the rest of the writers at VDARE.COM.  I've published several letters to the editor stating in non-racial terms the problem that illegal immigration represents to our poor and even middle-class workers

I recommend a 1996 book to you that reads like today's headlines. The Future of Capitalism, by Lester Thurow includes this startling statistic: since 1975 and through 1995, wages of non-supervisory employees, adjusted for inflation, has plummeted 14%, while the U.S. Gross Domestic Product, also adjusted for inflation, increased by 36%.

In his book, the Thurow cites illegal immigration as one of the factors that have conspired to foist such an outrage on our workers.

I think you'll find plenty of fodder in this visionary work that paints illegal immigration as one more tool in our class warfare.

Keep up the good work.  If no one shines a light on the brackish waters of abuse and patronage, it will continue unabated.  Remember Edmund Burke: The only thing that is needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing?

We may not be perfect men, but in the fight against illegal immigration, we are good American men and women striving to overturn forces bent on returning us to the gilded age.

Nationalism is not a dirty word. Think of it instead as Patriotism

Buy American, built in America, by American hands and ideas.
