06/24/06 - Saturday's Letters: A California Police Lieutenant (Retired) Says Cops Could Round Up Aliens; etc.

From:  "Living in Jersey"

Lewis, the Tennessee cat confined to lifetime house arrest because of his "vicious attacks on neighbors and acts of reckless endangerment", no doubt wishes he were an illegal alien. If he were, Lewis could continue to roam about and do his own violent thing without fear of prosecution.

Even Lewis's owner Ruth Cisero, is at more risk that illegal aliens. If Lewis escapes Cisero may face up to six months in jail.
