A Reader Criticizes Sam Francis And Leonard Glickman
Re: "British Asylum Scandal Undermining Elite Immigration Enthusiasm," by David Orland
From: A British Cockle Cognoscente
The locals still pick cockles and
have been doing so for
many generations. The reason that the Chinese were
the only ones on the sands when the tides came in and
drowned is that the people in the area know the time of
tides and the weather, so they knew it was
too dangerous to be out.
Nowadays, there is a lot of money to be made selling
cockles because they are considered a delicacy. Because
of this, gangs have started to descend upon Morecambe
and strip the beds of
all they can get. This has been happening so much
that the locals are very worried about the damage to the
cockle beds. The gangs are usually comprised of
illegal aliens.
So in this case, illegals are NOT filling jobs the locals do not want but ENDANGERING the livelihoods of the locals.
David Orland replies: I reported on the basis of early reports of the death of 19 Chinese illegals in Lancashire's Morecambe Bay that the Chinese were "truly doing work the locals wouldn't."
This turns out to be false. A sadly familiar story. I stand corrected.
