See, earlier CHARLOTTESVILLE REDUX: There's Still Time For Trump DOJ To Investigate AntiFa—And Stop Our Slide Into Civil War

The 2019 American Renaissance Conference in Tennessee went off without a hitch, but it will be a temporary triumph as long as Antifa continue to be treated with kid gloves. Massive security was required and, in a new move, Antifa began attacking attendees’ cars. Needless to say, if nationalists acted this way, there would be Main Stream Media hysteria and a sweeping law enforcement crackdown. But as of now, GOP Governor Bill Lee has done nothing. It is long past time for an investigation into these criminal organizations—by the state of Tennessee and even by Donald Trump’s DOJ.

Tennessee taxpayers have a financial interest in such an effort. As always, law enforcement ably protected the conference; if you didn’t go outside, you wouldn’t know Antifa were even there. Yet the expensive effort required security checks at the doors, roadblocks, and even troopers on horseback. Antifa were provided an area near the venue to demonstrate, but they declined. Four people were arrested. [Several protesters arrested outside conference at middle Tennessee park, by Aj Abell, Fox 17 Nashville, May 18, 2019]

One was named Corley Lemley. Lemley has been Antifa for quite a while, and was given a sympathetic interview by local Tennessee news back in 2017. [Q&A: Antifa organizer speaks about the movement’s mission, by Nancy De Gennaro, USA Today Network – Tennessee, October 30, 2017]

Interestingly, 2017 was the year when an incident took place that likely inspired the heightened security of the future. Contact between an American Renaissance conferencegoer and an Antifa activist led to a fight and mutual charges. The conflict started because Antifa were banging on windows, cursing, and screaming threats. One Antifa named JM Carico was arrested. Antifa claim he beat the charges from 2017, but is now facing drug charges. [KKKop Consolation Prize, The International Anti-Fascist Defense Fund, April 19, 2019] He (not surprisingly) unsuccessfully ran for the Senate seat in Tennessee last year. Fox News host Tucker Carlson might have been channeling VDARE.com last week when he spoke an obvious truth about Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Muslim refugee from Somalia. As our own A.W. Morgan argued exactly a month ago, mass immigration doesn’t just mean electing a new people who might overwhelm the Historic American Nation. It also means giving those hostile immigrants a voice in national affairs when the still-white majority, motivated by guilt, accepts them into Congress.

Carlson couldn’t put it quite that way, of course. But he got close when explained that the resentful, anti-American ideologue is the result of Open Borders:

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, herself a symbol of America's failed immigration system if there ever was one, someone who hates this country coming here at public expense, spent yesterday demanding the abolition of ICE, the decriminalization of illegal immigration itself, and an end to all deportation programs. She demands Open Borders, the unlimited arrival of anyone who wants to come to America whether they have anything to contribute or not and, by the way, you get to pay for it. And if you don't want to, you are a bigot.

[Tucker Carlson: Ilhan Omar is ‘a symbol of America’s failed immigration system’, by John Gage, Washington Examiner, May 17, 2019]

And this wasn’t the first time Carlson put the Muslim congresswoman on notice that he’s watching her. After she told Vogue Arabia in March how awful Trump’s America is, Carlson offered this:

So how does she repay her adopted country, the one that may literally have saved her life? She attacks it as hateful and racist, and for that she is applauded by the Democratic Party because they view this country as hateful and racist too. Maybe our immigration system should prioritize people who actually like this country and are grateful to be here.

[Tucker Carlson: Ilhan Omar ‘Repays Her Adopted Country’ by Attacking It as ‘Hateful and Racist’, by Josh Feldman, Mediaite, April 1, 2019]

Unsurprisingly, the usual suspects attacked Carlson for his eminently sensible comments.

After a stroke felled Woodrow Wilson during his national tour to save his League of Nations, an old rival, Sen. Albert Fall, went to the White House to tell the president, "I have been praying for you, Sir."

To which Wilson is said to have replied, "Which way, Senator?"

Historians are in dispute as to whether Wilson actually said it.

But the acid retort came to mind on hearing that Nancy Pelosi, hours after accusing President Donald Trump of "engaging in a cover-up," a felony, piously volunteered, "I pray for the president of the United States."

For, by now, the hostile investigations of Trump by Pelosi's House are becoming too numerous to list.

Subpoenas have been issued to the IRS demanding Trump's tax returns. New York has enacted a law to gain access to Trump's state tax returns, to pass them on to the comrades on Capitol Hill. Democrats are not seeking these records for guidance on how to reform the tax code.

House committees want the files of his accountants. Subpoenas have been issued to lending institutions where Trump borrowed, such as Deutsche Bank, going back to the last century.

Addtext com mtcyodq0mjk3mzmSee, earlier: "Actually, There Has Always Been Migration"—But In Those Days They Called It Invading!

Can we have a quick reality check and acknowledge that what is happening to America is a million times worse than what's happening in Europe and is of much greater consequence?

Conservatives regularly point to the mass migration afflicting Europe as if it's the Ghost of Christmas Future for America. Since waves of Third World migrants began sweeping into the European Union, we've seen terrorism, knifings, rape gangs and riots popping up all over the birthplace of Western civilization. Sweden has gone from a country where rape was essentially nonexistent to the Rape Capital of the World.

It's sweet of Americans to be so concerned about Europe, but maybe they should look at their own country. On account of a mass immigration policy imposed on us by our government, the United States has undergone a transformation unprecedented in all of world history.

From 1620 to 1970, the U.S. was demographically stable—not to be confused with "a nation of immigrants." The country was about 85% to 90% white, almost entirely British, German, French and Dutch, and 10% to 15% African American. (The American Indian population, technically in their own nations, steadily plummeted—an example of how vast numbers of new people can displace the old, both accidentally and on purpose.)

We no longer live in a constitutional republic. We live in an idiocracy.

Only in modern-day America, under the Democratic-controlled U.S. House of Representatives, is the basic proposition that federally subsidized public housing should benefit American citizens and legal residents slammed as "despicable" and "damaging."

Those are the hysterical words used by Democratic Rep. Carolyn Maloney of New York City to condemn the proposal discussed by Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson on Tuesday to ban government aid to residents of HUD who shelter illegal immigrants. The rule change would end a Clinton-era regulation that allowed immigrants to obtain aid without having to disclose whether they were here legally. The Trump plan could free up an estimated 32,000 public housing slots, according to HUD, as 1.6 million applicants nationwide wait to be considered.

Democratic Rep. Juan Vargas of San Diego County couldn't believe Carson could be so "mean-spirited" in prioritizing law-abiding people over law-breaking ones.
