The Pope has said, according to the New York Times, that Donald Trump isn't a Christian. (Trump is a Presbyterian.) He's also said that it's un-Christian to build a wall: The Pope's actual quote was “A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian.”[Pope Francis Suggests Donald Trump Is ‘Not Christian’, by Jim Yardley, February 18, 20...

President Donald Trump was recently acquitted in the most abusive impeachment trial in American history. The affair was a crazed Ruling Class attack on the U.S. Constitution with the fanatical support of  its MSM handmaidens, who began planning for it even before he won the GOP nomination [Could Trump Be Impeached Shortly After He Takes Office? by Darren Samuelson, Politico, April 17, 2016]. Yet good can still come of it if it helps Americans to start thinking about impeachment the way they should: as a powerful check on overmighty and corrupt Federal officials—which means most notably the legislating Leftist judges known here at VDARE.com as Kritarchs.

Example one: the day after the Senate acquitted Trump, U.S. District Judge Loretta Biggs, right, appointed by Barack Obama, blocked the Department of Homeland Security from policing international students [Court Hands International Students Big Immigration Victory, by Stuart Anderson, Forbes, February 7, 2019]. Of course the case will be appealed. More on this later.

Example two: U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer, appointed by Bill Clinton, ordered a deported illegal brought back from Africa because he didn't like how he'd been deported.

Contrary to what the MSM might suggest, the impeachment power isn’t just a constitutional remedy for presidential misconduct:

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. (emphasis added)

[Article II, Section 4, U.S. Constitution, Archives.gov. Emphasis added]

And in fact impeachment, history shows us, has been used against Federal judges far more often than against presidents. As of the beginning of 2020, 66 judges had been investigated for impeachment since the ratification of the Constitution, and only seven removed. (Black judge Alcee Hastings, removed in 1989, went on to be a congressman from Florida’s majority-black 20th District.) Only three presidents have been impeached: Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton, and, of course, Trump.

The Kritarchy and asylum fraud are two of the important immigration issues of our time. Asylum is used by the Kritarchs as a convenient and ostensibly publicly acceptable battering ram to invalidate longstanding laws and enforcement practices. No more so than the ongoing issue at the border with Mexico and the zerg rush of illegal aliens from all over the world. But the border issue with kritarchs ...

The Slave Power, corporations whose business model is based on illegal aliens, is again sounding the cry that crops are rotting in the field, as well as a new angle: restaurant food is being left uncooked and unserved.  It is a crisis again, one that is repeated ad infinitum throughout the year, generally though around harvest time.  The new angle is that  if we enforce immigration laws, there wil...

See, earlier, by Lance Welton: Are Women Destroying Academia? Probably

When I attended Johns Hopkins University almost 50 years ago, most of the students were men. Enrollment at the medical school was lopsidedly male, too. Today, undergraduate enrollment is 52.2 percent women, 47.6 percent men. The school also “boasts excellent racial diversity,” with whites at 38.2 percent, Asians at 23.4, and blacks around 6 [Johns Hopkins Student Population Stats, Collegefactual.com]. The diversity racket depends on leveraging white guilt about race, of course. (See Diversity and Inclusion, 2017, Johns Hopkins Medicine Office of Diversity and Inclusion, which features a cover photo of a Gambian female student in a hijab). According to Johns Hopkins, women students comprise "approximately 50% of the medical school class."

I believe Lance Welton’s conclusions about the damaging influence of women in the academe, which aroused a predictable furor, apply also to the medical profession. Welton additionally noted the interesting fact that British medical schools admitted women in considerable numbers during World War I, but later decided it was a mistake and cut back. We should be so lucky.

Historically, a number of exceptional women such as Helen Taussig (right, not wearing hijab) the pioneering pediatric cardiologist, have distinguished themselves in medical careers, but social conventions supported a predominantly male medical profession. Not anymore. In 2017, more 60 percent of physicians under 35 years old were female, and the percentage appears likely to increase in the future [The healthcare future is female, by Megan Johnson, AthenaHealth.com, February 14, 2018].

Is this transformation a good thing? My own observations through 35 years of medical practice suggest that everyone will suffer—but no-one will be allowed to notice in medicine’s Brave New World.

I had the pleasure of working with many smart and capable women. But their temperamental and physical limitations provided a constant, subtle undertow of problems: They are 1) indecisive 2) lack professional focus; and 3) get pregnant and 4) burn out more easily than men. None of that bodes well for patients if the majority of doctors are women—or for the women doctors themselves.

Earlier: Stix Vindicated! Academics, Magazine Confirm Big City Police Are “Disappearing” Crime

At long last, Rashaun Weaver has been arrested for the murder of Barnard College student Tessa Majors back on December 11 2019. Remember, the police had Weaver in custody but let him go [14-Year-Old Is Released Without Charges in Tessa Majors Case, by Edgar Sandoval, New York Times, December 26, 2019]. A second suspect, Zyairr Davis, 13, had already been charged—but in Family Court [Judge sets murder trial date for teen boy in Tessa Majors stabbing death, by Anthony M. DeStefano, Newsday, January 2, 2020]. A third suspect, also questioned but also released, is still free. This agonizing pace is the direct result of the race-whipped pro-crime policies of New York City Mayor Bill DiBlasio, which I predict may yet succeed in denying Majors justice. And it’s the tip of the iceberg: soon it will not be possible to disguise that we’re headed back to the high-crime era of 1980s.

In Majors’ case, the New York City Police Department also did its part. Tellingly, as with the Knoxville Horror, depolicing had let Davis’ gang of muggers run amok in the area until they murdered her.

And, as the New York Post reported, Weaver

was on the lam for more than two weeks before cops nabbed him in the Bronx on Thursday. ... Investigators believe he may have stayed underground until his finger healed

[Suspect may have killed Tessa Majors because she bit his finger: police sources, by Tina Moore, Khristina Narizhnaya and Laura Italiano, December 27, 2019].

But, of course, the NYPD has not arrested the accomplices who harbored him while he healed and charged them as accessories.

One understandable reason for law enforcement caution:  the killers’ fans are politicizing the case, aiming to pull a new Central Park Five Hoax. They’ve already defamed the main detective [Detective involved in Barnard student Tessa Majors case faces allegations he falsified evidence in other cases, by Alec Snyder, CNN, December 23, 2019], and baselessly asserted that Davis’ confession was coerced because detectives “badgered” him [Lawyer Casts Doubt on Boy’s Statements About Murder of Barnard Student, by Jan Ransom, The New York Times, December 17, 2019].
