A prominent Republican has decided to take on Twitter in court, but it’s not cause for celebration for immigration patriots. California Rep. Devin Nunes filed a lawsuit against Twitter and three users Monday. The congressman claims Twitter allowed a defamation campaign to be waged against, as well as shadow banned his personal Twitter account. Conservative tweeters rejoiced over the lawsuit, seeing...

It's hard to know who to root against on this one. Maybe just sit back and watch. I refer to professional Hispanic Pontificator Ruben Navarette, of whom we've written much at VDARE.COM through the years (see here) who is taking on Beto O'Rourke, accusing him of "stolen valor" for using a Spanish nickname and trying to pass himself off as Hispanic. Stolen valor, for a nickname? The Navarette column ...

Raspail

See, earlier, by Martin Witkerk: The Relevance Of Raspail—Visionary French Novelist Saw It Coming, Published Just Before Censorship Crackdown

TheCampOfTheSaints[1]The Social Contract Press has just brought out a sixth edition of Jean Raspail’s prophetic novel Camp Of The Saints, including for the first time an English-language translation of the substantial foreword that the author added to the 2011 French edition. He’s not backing down.

Raspail describes the original inspiration for the novel. One day in 1971, he looked out his window on France’s Mediterranean coast and a thought occurred to him: “What if they came?”

I didn’t know who these they were, but to me it seemed bound to happen that the innumerable poor from the south, in the manner of a tidal wave, were one day going to set out for this opulent shore.

He sat down to write.

I had no plan and not the slightest idea of how things would go, nor of the characters who were going to populate my tale. I used to stop for the night without knowing what would take place the day after, and to my great surprise, the next day my pencil raced across the paper without a snag. It went like that all the way to the end.

superbCamp Of The Saints was first published in France in 1973. The French publisher, Robert Laffont, expecting a bestseller, took a personal interest in the novel and contacted all the major booksellers of France personally to promote it. But the initial results were disappointing: 15,000 sold out of an initial print run of 20,000. The Leftist press ignored the book; it was panned by France’s leading “conservative” daily, Le Figaro (actually it’s moved to the Left—very like National Review).

In 1975, however, the American publisher Charles Scribner brought out an English translation that sold better and attracted more favorable attention than the French original. Readers included Ronald Reagan and Samuel Huntington; Jeffrey Hart praised the novel in National Review (those were the days!). The rest of the world began to pay attention: translations followed in German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Czech, and even Afrikaans.

VDARE.com Note: Since this is a column about a de-financing attack on us, we might have ended it with an appeal for donations. Instead, we’re putting the appeal for donations right at the top—go here to donate—while you still can!

A recent JournoFa attack on VDARE.com and others argued that “Hate Groups” shouldn’t receive donations via charitable trusts, a common device used by wealthy donors to simplify their giving.[America’s Biggest Charities Are Funneling Millions to Hate Groups From Anonymous Donors, by Alex Kotch, ReadSludge, February 19, 2019]

The subhead is

“Four donor-advised funds, which create accounts for individuals to anonymously give money to nonprofits, are financing more than 30 anti-Muslim, anti-LGBT, and other hate groups.”

This Kotch thug (email him) says:

Whatever systems may be in place have not prevented Fidelity Charitable and Vanguard Charitable from continuing to donate money to hate groups such as the VDARE Foundation or the Family Research Council, which a quick web search shows are considered hate groups by some experts.

Then Kotch quotes, and links to, this quote from VDARE.com Editor Peter Brimelow:

"But there's no doubt that something in that book  got to [President Donald Trump], because the way his speech was set up. His announcement speech went to the question of Hispanic crime, specifically rape. And [Ann Coulter]'s book is a very powerful statement of the fact that crime in this country is ethnically variegated. There's ethnic specialization in crime. And Hispanics do specialize in rape, particularly of children. They're very prone to it, compared to other groups."
— On President Trump's immigration policies at the American Renaissance conference, 2017

This is a quote—with no link, of course— appears on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Extremist Files” Peter Brimelow page, which describes VDARE.com as an “an immigrant-bashing hate site that regularly publishes works by white supremacists, anti-Semites, and others on the radical right.”

(We describe the $PLC as a “Cultural Marxist Treason Lobby fundraising scam”, by the way).

This is not really Peter “On President Trump's immigration policies”, by the way. During a question and answer session the  2017 American Renaissance conference Peter was asked if he thought that Trump had really read Ann Coulter’s seminal Adios, America, of which David Frum said “Perhaps no single writer has had such immediate impact on a presidential election since Harriet Beecher Stowe.”

Watch Peter answer the question below:

00000hispanicnewsPeter’s years as a financial journalist have left him skeptical about any CEO actually reading a whole book, but Trump must have either listened to it on Audible (read by Ann herself!) or got some kind of synopsis, because Trump knew to say, on June 16, 2015 in the Trump Tower:

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.”

[Donald Trump’s false comments connecting Mexican immigrants and crime, By Michelle Ye Hee Lee, Washington Post, July 8, 2015]

So—is there “ethnic specialization in crime”? OF COURSE THERE IS! Ask the Mafia, the Tongs, or the Nigerian internet scam specialists.

Back in 1995, in his book Alien Nation: Common Sense About America’s Immigration Disaster, Brimelow wrote:

[C]rime is "dirty work" that some of the post- 1965 immigrant groups are positively anxious to do—more violently, particularly in the burgeoning drug business, than the Mafia ever was.

There are several such new "mafias," each with its own specialties: Colombians (cocaine); Mexicans (marijuana, auto theft, alien smuggling); Hong Kong Chinese (heroin, alien smuggling); South Koreans (prostitution)...and even lesser-known communities like the Chaldeans, Iraqi Christians whose heroically run convenience stores in the Detroit ghetto are reportedly centers of criminal activity (narcotics, gambling, coupon fraud).

You haven't read much about this because of the contemporary taboo that ensures only good things can be said about immigrants.

But is true that Hispanics specialize in the rapes of children? OF COURSE IT IS—and if you read Adios America, you know that, too. In fact, Chapter 11 is titled Why Do Hispanic Valedictorians Make The News, But Child Rapists Don’t?

First of all, it’s a different culture in Mexico, where the age of consent is 12.

Last Friday, in Christchurch, New Zealand, one of the more civilized places on earth, 28-year-old Brenton Tarrant, an Australian, turned on his cellphone camera and set out to livestream his massacre of as many innocent Muslim worshippers as he could kill.

Using a semi-automatic rifle, he murdered more than 40 men, women and children at one mosque, drove three miles to another, and there killed seven more. Dozens are still wounded, suffering and dying.

An atrocity and act of pure evil by a man with a dead soul.

Yet, predictably, within 48 hours, the president of the United States was being publicly indicted as a moral accomplice.

Donald Trump, it was said, used a word, "invasion," to describe the 76,000 migrants caught illegally crossing the U.S. border in February. At the same time, the killer used that word to describe the Muslim migration into the West.

The killer also mentioned Trump in his 74-page manifesto.
