White privilege. Systemic inequality. Implicit bias. These three terms, used to explain all problems blacks face in America – persistent and consistent victims of relentless white racism, which easily explains the inequalities they face in life – all melt away as actually existing when you consider how the corporate media (nationally and locally) cover black on white violent crime. His name is Kevi...

The COVID-19 Coronavirus arrived to Mexico a month after its arrival to the United States, but it continues to spread in Mexico.  According the Worldometer stats of May 28, Mexico has had 78,023 COVID-19 cases  and 8,597deaths from the virus.  So the Mexican coronavirus death is approaching a quadrupling of  the secret prediction made in a March Mexican cabinet meeting, which was leaked to the medi...

In St. Francis De Sales elementary school’s 1970 production of Oliver!, when I was in 6th grade, I made my one and only stage appearance as Oliver Twist’s grandfather, Mr. Brownlow, utilizing my sole performing talent, tallness. Also by Gilbert Cavanaugh: Last Night’s Riots in Minneapolis at American Renaissance Last night, during the riots in Minneapolis, the local library was targeted:  The audible cry of "Not the library!! People read books there!" amused me greatly. Anybody who has ever been there (e.g. me) knows that this particular library is often used for other things as well, a now-deleted Yelp review described i...

Peter Brimelow welcomed his fellow-thought criminal and oppressed editor Jared Taylor, who has been running  American Renaissance as a newsletter, conference and web page since since 1990, to a discussion about tech totalitarianism and "deplatforming."

Jared Taylor's outfit is something of a canary in a coal mine on the deplatforming front. For several years in a row (especially 2010 and 2011) antiracist pressure—including government action on the part of the black mayor pro tem of Charlotte—and antifa death threats caused private hotels to cancel the American Renaissance Conference, which has since moved the Tennesse State Government owned Montgomery Bell Park. As Jared points out  "The public sector won't submit to threats of that kind."

However, Park Police are expensive, and the presence of scruffy antifa protestors required the State of to pay overtime, for which they tried to charge American Renaissance a minimum of $30,000. However, American Renaissance sued in court, and as Jared wrote in 2019,

Judge Aleta Trauger [A Clinton appointee!] issued a preliminary injunction in our favor, ruling that to charge us crushing security fees because of outside threats would be a classic case of the “heckler’s veto,” or letting critics deny us our free-speech rights.

Proof, by the way, that litigation works.

They've had some great conferences there, under the protection of the Park Police, but they had to cancel this year, because of Coronavirus. It's rescheduled for May 2021, but it would have started this week. (Jared's video background is black crepe, signifying mourning.)

Jared says that he hadn't written his speech, and wondered if Peter had written his planned speech which was to have been "Donald Trump: Tragedy Or Triumph?"

Jared rates President Trump a C on his performance in office, alluding to many broken promises.

Peter, on the other hand still gives Trump an A for not being Hillary, an A-plus for not being Jeb Bush, and when asked what grade he'd give him for not being Joe Biden, said "An A, of course, because if Biden becomes President, we'll all be driven off the Internet."

See, earlier: Biden And Blacks: No Gaffe Can Threaten This Venal Relationship

We’re all going crazy and running out of things to do during this endless shutdown. We’ve painted the dog, counted pavers in the backyard, and rearranged the spice rack alphabetically and also by color. What we really need right now is a new game!

Herewith I present the Quarantine Game that I, Ann Coulter, have invented.

The rules are simple. Imagine you’re the Democratic Party. You have a stellar opportunity to win the White House and also ensure that the opposition party never regains it as long as Homo sapiens walks the Earth.

But in a series of developments too bizarre to recall (have they finished counting the ballots in Iowa yet?), you find yourself stuck with a 77-year-old candidate whose campaign is causing no excitement anywhere in the land, even in his own brain—although, in fairness, Joe Biden is unaware that he’s running for president.

You have 12 minutes to come up with at least two (2) answers to this question: What can you do to get your party out of this mess?

Answers will be scored on rationale, probability and advantages.

Think about it. Your opposition is Donald Trump. For all the reasons Republicans salivated over running against Hillary—she was a repugnant human being, her every calculation was based on what was good for her and her family, scandals broke out whenever she was around, half the country already hated her—you are salivating looking at Trump.

Lest we forget, in Donald Trump the Democrats have a man [partial list] …

Look out. An "army of contact tracers" is about to be unleashed on America. Corporations, political lobbyists and government bureaucracies all win. Privacy, freedom and family autonomy all lose. Big time. You may have already heard of the aptly named House Bill 6666, sponsored by Illinois Dem. Bobby Rush. Known as the Testing, Reaching and Contacting Everyone (TRACE) Act, the legislation would allo...

The U.S. economy lost 21.5 million payroll jobs in April as the unemployment rose to 14.7%, the worst since the Great Depression. But immigrants (legal and illegal—federal data doesn’t distinguish) lost most ground. Now more than ever, the immigration moratorium hinted at by President Trump is essential to ensure that the benefits of recovery accrue to American workers,

Our analysis of the “other” employment survey, of Households rather than businesses, finds total employment shrank by 22.4 million in April, the largest monthly decline since the government began publishing official job statistics at the end of World War II.

Note, however, that native-born American workers fared relatively well—i.e., they did not suffer quite as much—as their foreign-born counterparts.

In April:

  • Immigrants lost 4.61 million jobs, a 17.3% decline from March.
  • Native-born Americans lost 17.76 million jobs, a 13.7% decline.
  • com’s immigrant employment index, set at 100.0 in January 2009, fell to 101.5 from March’s 122.8, a 17.3% loss.
  • The native-born American employment index fell to its lowest level since we began tracking it. At 92.4, the April American employment index indicates a 7.6% reduction in native-born employment since Obama’s last month in office (January 2009.) This means that the slow, grinding employment gains native-born workers have eked out since the end of the Great Recession were wiped out entirely in April.
  • Accordingly, the New VDARE American Worker Displacement Index (NVDAWDI), our name for the ratio of immigrant to native-born American employment growth indexes since Jan. 2009, fell to109.8 in April, a decline of 4.2% from March’s 114.6.

Not since July 2014 has VDARE.com’s Displacement Index been this low.

Displacement is down, largely because immigrants are leaving in record numbers, and those that remain are losing jobs at even faster rates than native-born

See, earlier:  JOHN DERBYSHIRE: China Has Problems In New Bipolar World—But U.S. Has Worse

Is the U.S. up for a second Cold War—this time with China?

What makes the question newly relevant is that Xi Jinping's China suddenly appears eager for a showdown with the United States for long-term supremacy in the Asia-Pacific and the world.

With the U.S. consumed by the coronavirus pandemic that has killed 100,000 Americans and crashed our economy to depths not seen since the Great Depression, China's dictator seems to be making his move.
