Re James Fulford's Blog Item White Man Commits Crime In Australia

Australia isn't the only area to offer the “men of no appearance” [Criminals whose ethnicity is deliberately unreported.] Here in the Houston area, local news outlets will show photos, but not mention race, unless the person is white. I have queried the news organizations repeatedly, never receiving an answer.

James Fulford writes: This has been a problem for years, and I've written about it frequently. A quick search finds that the Houston Chronicle claims to have a policy of sometimes mentioning the race of a wanted criminal, and they claim that they aren't simply being politically correct, but they don't follow their own policy, and nobody believes their claims.
